Jr. to Mid Level VB.NET Software Developer
This opportunity is ideal for a Jr. to Mid Level Developer within a non-aggressive environment.
Client has newly created opening for a Software Developer with strong VB.NET skills.
Responsibilities will be to develop specs for complex software applications and modify existing software. Will also work with customized applications that will have to be modified and maintained. All work is done in a collaborative environment. You are working and cooperating with the team in providing software solutions. Work is done to design and develop software applications and not websites. Flex time and the ability to telecommute on occasion are offered.
Requires 2-7 years experience with Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET) and Oracle or SQL Server. Also experience with getting data, analyzing it and writing code is important.
Other skills necessary for the job: XSLT, CSS, XML Schema, Document Type Definition, XML DOM. Experience with DLL's and ASP.NET a plus. Since this is a team environment, ability to communicate with other team members is critical. BS (Bachelor's Degree) required and MS (Master's Degree) preferred.
Client offers full benefits to include some tuition reimbursement, ability to telecommute on occasion and flex time.
